Dr. Jack Millwood
Training, equipping, & mentoring Indigenous Pastors in developing nations and in the countries of Africa.
Dr. Jack Millwood has been a Lead Pastor of Churches for over 50 years. He has served in almost every type of church congregation experiencing solid growth with each opportunity. Jack has retired from serving as a full time Pastor of a local church... His heart beats with the message of reaching lost people with the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ, and equipping untrained Pastors for the work of ministry.
All of this is based on Ephesians 4:11-12, “Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: … the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.” NLT

JOGGING THROUGH THE BIBLE
Jack teaches a creative approach to learning the “big picture” of the Bible. By learning five phone numbers you can know the layout of the Bible, why the books of the Bible are arranged in the order they are in, who wrote each book and how it fits in the overall story of the Scriptures.
You are given a key “ing word” and a key phrase for each book so that you can know what each book of the Bible is about.
Most of us learn passages and stories from the Bible but we do not have a high-level view of where all the stories and passages fit into the great overall story of God’s work in the life of Israel and the church.
Dr. Fred Lowery, Jack’s mentor in the ministry, wrote the original “Jogging through the Bible” in the 1970’s. After teaching it in churches for over 40 years, Dr Lowery asked Jack to revise and update the material.
Jack has done that and is teaching the new and updated material in Africa and in many places throughout the US. This material can be taught in a class setting, a retreat setting, or in a few sessions or in as much time as is available.
Jack is available to come and teach this material to churches and groups upon request. To contact or get more detailed information on booking Jack to teach “Jogging”, Contact Us
